Do you want to know the best and easiest way to learn English?
Let me share you some tips that may help :
1. when speaking, don't be afraid of making mistakes. don't let your strive for accuracy hurt your fluency. i am not implying that you go and keep abusing English structure when speaking hehehe... but at least during you learning process, keep talking, it will help you a lot, nevertheless fluency is more important when speaking. CMIIW. also there is this element of 'as long as the message is delivered and understood'. interesting justification, no? :p of course at the same time you need to keep improving your command of English structure and enrich your vocabulary.
2. don't stop talking just because you do not know or forget about a certain word. let's say you are talking about animals and forget the word elephant, you can go on describe it with it is big, big ears, heavy, etc until you eventually remember or your counterpart helps you with the word.
3. write down new words will help you with spelling. especially those with many consonants in them. do it again and again. try them in sentences. try also to mental picture the spelling in your free time while in the toilet for instance? :D read a lot can help too. many packages nowadays have English wording in them, from instant noodle to medicine packages, read them while preparing your instant noodle for once? hihihihi...
4. now, it will be much different when it comes to writing. i know i still make mistakes here and there when writing. but i always try to minimize them by applying the minimal requirement mistake rule. i learned this during my uni years. so when writing, do pay serious attention on things that are considered as minimal requirement mistake. to be, the addition of s or es to verbs, the use of auxiliary, the correct verb form etc. for example she go to school everyday. you know something is wrong. it should be she goes to school everyday. also because when writing you can always read, reread, edit, reedit such minimal requirement mistake is quite intolerable :D
5. well your strive to eliminate minimal requirement mistakes can certainly help also in speaking. believe it or not when you pay close attention to those minimal requirement mistakes while writing, somehow when you utter a sentence and there is a minimal requirement mistake in the sentence, something in your brain will knock knock you and you realize that you make a mistake. you may as well utter the sentence once again, but now with proper structure ;)
6. enrich your vocabulary. write a word. then jot down all related words. including synonim, antonym and also any word that you think of when you read that word. write as many as possible. by doing so you are not only working on enriching your vocabulary but at the same time you are also working on your spelling. nice eh?
by the way, toilet has been serving as one of the effective venues to brainwash myself with various english structure and painstackingly correct my own sentences mwihihihihi...
so what is the best and easiest way to learn English? spend more time in the toilet? mwahahahahaha....
